This corporate logo design was created to evoke the image of a future SMAS, and has the following goals: to demonstrate being in command of all things related to movement, to lead a constantly changing world, and to inspire the society of the future.
The light-blue gradation of the background color depicts the Earth, with a motif in the key Sumitomo and Mitsui colors overlaid on top to represent the piece of mind that both brands provide.
The three lines that extend up to the right express the following:
